BcfRelationFindParentRow Method

Returns parent row with matching key values.

Parameters

key: Type: SystemObject
The key values

Return Value

Type: BcfRow
The parent row with matching key values if found; otherwise null.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	key is null.
ArgumentException	The relation has no key columns defined.
InvalidOperationException	key array length does not match key column count. or There are more than one row with matching key. This can be done within a transaction by setting transactions EnforceConstraints to false. If you do so; use FindParentRows(Object) to get all rows with matching key.

key is null.

ArgumentException

The relation has no key columns defined.

InvalidOperationException

key array length does not match key column count.

There are more than one row with matching key. This can be done within a transaction by setting transactions EnforceConstraints to false. If you do so; use FindParentRows(Object) to get all rows with matching key.
