Gets or sets the value stored in the BcfColumn specified by columnName.

Parameters

columnName: Type: SystemString
The column name.

Return Value

Type: Object
the value stored in the BcfColumn specified by columnName if set; otherwise null.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	columnName is null.
ArgumentException	The column specified by columnName cannot be found.
InvalidOperationException	Set requires row-state Created or Valid.
BcfUpdateException	Set may throw BcfUpdateException.

Remarks

Note
Getter causes boxing if columns DataType is a ValueType.
